Joeski
New York house legend, Joeski has been blowing up the club scene for over a decade, and is definitely one of the most prevalent DJ/producers today. Joeski started DJing in 1989 doing house parties in Queens NYC before hooking up getting his first break with some promoters in 1991 to DJ at the Wunder Bar NY.
A member of notorious Chocolate Factory collective, he began his reign at the legendary Limelight and NASA which was where he got into the rave circuit hooking up with DJ Keoki to play at Save the Robots a Thursday night/morning afterhours . He even earned himself a spot as one of the few East Coasters ever to play at the San Francisco Full Moon Parties..
At the start of the early nineties Joeski's Djing started to take him all over the US before he finally settled into a new residency at the famed Roxy Club on Fridays for a night called Together playing alongside the US's finest DJ's including Danny T, Little Louie Vega and Roger S. The high profile Roxy residency meant a flood of dates for gigs all over the US including a new residency at Groove Society in Montreal – Joeski's name and music was now starting to spread rapidly.
Having started production work in 1996, Joeski has released such classics as the "6400 Project", "The Sax Attack", "Deep Sessions", "The Groundfloor ", and his newest self-titled EP on Moezee Muzik "Joeski".
