Scott Walker for SWP Prods
Scott Walker has already achieved a number of impressive accomplishments. His musical interests began at a young age experimenting with Drum and Bass, House, and Trance. These experiments led to very positive reviews from several respected publications including Future Publishing’s “The Mix Magazine”. For the past several years, he has had his own imprint, Scott Walker Productions, producing diverse styles of music for labels such as Academy Street Records, Club Scene and Boys Toys Productions (all based in London). He has collaborated with various artists, producers and remixers and his most recent association was with Martin Scully a.k.a. Solonge/ Gatecrasher. Last year provided some interesting developments for Scott in the film industry. He scored original sound tracks for Nike and Amstel advertisements and worked with companies such as Yellowfish (Amsterdam) and PMSvW/ YNR (Holland). In addition to performing contracted work, he also devotes a good deal of studio time with his own independent creations. Current artists include a new funky diva Sophia C and Louisa, a fresh new London talent. Both these artists have already received positive reactions and label affiliations are imminent. Without doubt, his work with Easy Street has been the most refreshing and artistically rewarding. He has been remixing productions from artists such as Kathy Brown, De' Lacy and Emily Davis, combining Easy Street’s solid vocals with funky UK grooves.
