The Namára musical journey started back in the mid naughties when the two DJ’s met playing at local clubs and events. Quickly, they realised that they shared a mutual love for house music and as their friendship evolved, so did their plan to work together in music. This led to them packing their record bags as they headed off to Ibiza in 2011. It didn’t take long for them to settle in and soon they were on the line-up’s for legendary club’s such as We Love Space Sundays, Bora Beach Party, to name but a few.
On return to the UK after an amazing season on the White Isle, spurred on by a wealth of DJ experience and vibes the boys got their heads down and stuck into music production. The hard work paid off in 2015 when they received their first music break with their ‘Living Without You’ single. The track exploded with Mistajam and Trevor Nelson supporting on Radio1 and Radio1Xtra where it received the coveted ‘Track of the Week’ across the national stations.
They have built upon their initial success with a string of chart topping releases on a variety of quality underground house labels. The Namara sound continues to develop as they leave no stone unturned, never following the typical pattern of specializing in one house genre but embracing a myriad of influences as they push the Namara sound forward.
